14 - The Internet

Carl Sandburg said that “Progress isn't made by early risers. It's made by lazy men trying to find easier ways to do something.” It is right that we will only need a progress when we feel that we need to do a specific thing faster and more accurate and precise. We can say also that progress is inevitable, because sooner or later we will feel the urge of having simple ways and methods to do our works. That is why one of the progresses of human kind is the technology that includes the Internet. Internet ease the workload of man ever since because the World Wide Web helps the netizens to spread, write, receive and share information all over the world, the internet had developed systems for the  man to have better means of communication to each other and the internet make most of the things almost instantly.

The World Wide Web helps the netizens to spread, write, receive and share information all over the world. The netizens are the ones who uses internet, it comes from the word “net” and “citizens”. The Internet is not just a means of entertainment or for fun, it can be also use for spreading news so everyone can be informed and be aware of what is happening all around the world. It can use as a personal diary also, you can write personal thoughts, share videos to your friends or write anything you want. The Internet is a good product of our progress, it has a lot of uses not just for entertainment.

The Internet had developed systems for the man to have better means of communication to each other. Internet is not only for searching information, a personal diary, a way of self-expression etc. Internet can be use also for socializing to everyone. It can also act as a phone so we can call or contact persons we need to talk to. Social networks such as Facebook, Messenger, Twitter and Instagram are the instruments of Internet so people can socialize with each other. Internet helps the humankind in communicating each other regardless of where they are around the world.

Internet make most of the things almost instantly. Internet is really a mark of the massive progress of humankind. Internet can ease our job or the things we will do such as booking a hotel reservation, buying tickets for a concert, reserving seats on a restaurant and so much more. It can process request
also for personal files like birth certificate etc. We can use it also if we want to sell things or buy things online without going into their shops. We can ask them to ship or to deliver it through mails. It is really a progress indeed, we must be proud for the development we had.

A progress for a better future is what we need. Internet is an instrument to it, it eases things that we cannot do in an instant or the fastest way around. Internet gives alternative ways to be intact with our loved ones around the world. It also helps the government to disseminate information and announcement to the people so they will be aware and be cautious of what is really happening around the world. Sooner or later the humankind will have an evolution again but we should pay respect and attention of the Internet, and maximize its capability so we can reach out to each other.
